Team Wright Vigar Goes the Distance for Lincoln City Foundation
Ten members of Team Wright Vigar have raised £1,461 for the Lincoln City Foundation after taking on the Lincoln Half Marathon.
The annual event attracted thousands of runners to the streets of Lincoln on Sunday, and Team Wright Vigar joined participants from across the region to support the firm's Charity of the Year, the Lincoln City Foundation.
For several members of the team, the race marked their first-ever half marathon, making the achievement all the more memorable. They thanked colleagues, clients, friends and family for their support, which helped drive the fundraising total beyond £1,400.
The Lincoln City Foundation delivers programmes across Lincolnshire aimed at improving health and wellbeing, supporting education and skills development, and creating opportunities for people of all ages through sport and community engagement.
Josh Bowden, Associate Director at Wright Vigar and one of the runners, said:
"Taking part in the Lincoln Half Marathon was a fantastic experience and there was a real sense of achievement among the team after crossing the finish line.
"What made it even more rewarding was knowing we were doing it to support a fantastic local cause. The generosity people have shown and to have raised £1,461 so far is a brilliant result. With donations still coming in, we're hoping to push the total even higher."
While race day may have marked the end of the challenge itself, fundraising remains open, and Team Wright Vigar is hoping to build on the total raised and continue supporting the foundation's work across communities throughout Lincolnshire.
The effort forms part of Wright Vigar's wider commitment to supporting its Charity of the Year; the half marathon represents one of the firm's biggest fundraising initiatives of 2026 so far.
