Greater Lincolnshire Showcases £4.2bn Investment Opportunities at UKREiiF 2026
Inward investment teams from Lincolnshire County Council and North East Lincolnshire Council were joined by the Greater Lincolnshire Combined County Authority (GLCCA) to return to UKREiiF 2026.
Greater Lincolnshire made a significant statement as one of the UK's leading destinations for investment, growth and development by unveiling £4.2bn of investment opportunities and a pipeline of transformational projects designed to drive growth across some of the UK’s most nationally significant sectors.
Exhibiting once again from the Greater Lincolnshire Combined County Authority pavilion, partners highlighted a portfolio of strategic development opportunities and launched two major new investment documents during the three-day event in Leeds: the Greater Lincolnshire Housing Pipeline and Investment Prospectus, alongside the Investment Site Catalogue.
The Housing Pipeline features 20 deliverable residential sites planned over the next five to 10 years, while the Site Catalogue presents a range of investment-ready commercial and mixed-use opportunities aimed at attracting both national and international investors.
With a £29bn economy and growth outperforming the national average, Greater Lincolnshire is rapidly emerging as one of the UK’s most compelling destinations for investment. The region has nationally significant strengths across Defence and Security, Agri-tech, Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering, Energy, Ports and Logistics - all of which were promoted throughout the event.
Across the three days, the GLCCA pavilion welcomed 800 delegates, creating valuable opportunities to showcase Greater Lincolnshire’s ambitions, investment potential and strategic advantages to developers, investors, occupiers and public sector partners.
The pavilion also hosted eight panel sessions - featuring 25 expert speakers, discussing important industry topics ranging from housing and infrastructure to energy, defence, skills and economic growth. We were also pleased to host Lincolnshire Co-op in two closed sessions around the Lincoln Defence Innovation Campus and Intergenerational Living.
In addition, two networking drinks receptions were held, sponsored by Lincolnshire Co-op, which provided further opportunities to strengthen connections and promote collaboration across the region.
Tony Reynolds, Inward Investment Manager - Lincolnshire County Council said:
"Back in Lincolnshire after a great few days at UKREiiF 2026. Delivering seven speakers sessions in our pavilion to a full house on subjects ranging from the combined authority's investment prospectus and housing strategy to sharing investment opportunities in both Ag Tech and Defence amongst many others, highlighting both the growth and ambition our incredible county has to offer.
"In all we welcomed over 800 to the pavilion during the three days and look forward to following up on some great conversations."
Thank you to the panel speakers for sharing their time, expertise and insights, to the many delegates - including Team Lincolnshire Ambassadors - who joined us in the pavilion, and to Stokes Tea & Coffee for providing hot drinks throughout the event.
This year marked our biggest and most productive UKREiiF to date, reinforcing Greater Lincolnshire’s growing reputation as a confident, ambitious and investment-ready region.
