City Fans Back the Imps
Lincoln City fans are backing the team in numbers with record first-day sales of gold memberships for 2026/27.
500 gold memberships were sold on the opening day of window one – almost 200 more than the first day last year, – and City passed the 600 mark within 24 hours of the memberships going on sale.
Every current gold membership holder has their seat guaranteed so long as they renew before the end of window one on Thursday 2nd April.
The feel-good factor is strong at the Imps at the moment, as Michael Skubala’s side is on a 15-game unbeaten run in League One which has propelled them to second in the table.
And supporters have got behind the side: the entire allocation for this Saturday’s trip to Mansfield Town has quickly sold out.
More than 1,000 tickets were also sold for next month’s eagerly anticipated trip to league leaders Cardiff City when they went on sale to gold membership holders last week.
Head of Club Services Rob Noble said:
“Imps fans have really played their part in making this a memorable season so far, and they’re continuing to really get behind the club.
“This kind of backing gives a boost to Michael and the players on the pitch and gives us a great platform to plan for the summer and beyond.
“We’ve seen a number of people buy gold memberships for the first time, upgrading from silver or bronze packages, and we’re all pleased to see these fans able to commit.
“More than a quarter of our day one sales went to new purchases, so for anyone considering upgrading we’d recommend doing so as soon as possible. With almost 6,000 2025/26 gold members, there’s only a limited number of new seats available for the 2026/27 season.”
