Team Lincolnshire April Update

As we move into spring and ease out of lockdown it is so encouraging to hear that more and more of our members are collaborating together and driving investment all across the region.
Here is just a snapshot of how you, our Team Lincolnshire members, are facilitating this growth.
Lincolnshire County Council (LCC) is investing £86 million in expanding special educational needs and disability schools in Lincolnshire, collaborating with Willmott Dixon, BSP and Influence to bring this worthy scheme forward. Another commendable project - the new Air Ambulance Centre at Waddington is being built by Lindum, and we look forward to seeing this much needed development.
In Lincoln, Willmott Dixon and SVM Building Services Design are working together to design the city's new market buildings. CPMG are working with GF Tomlinson on the refurbishment of the Riseholme campus at the University of Lincoln. LK2 are working with Lindum on the National Centre for Craft and Design in Sleaford, and are also expanding the LK2 HQ at Nettleham. Lindum are also collaborating on energy efficient council homes with North Kesteven District Council. The eight new homes will all be built to the internationally recognised Passivhaus standard, which makes them more cost effective and environmentally friendly to live in.
Since the start of October Micronclean have taken on twenty four new staff, as the company responds to the needs of the pandemic. The Skegness based specialist industrial cleaning and innovation company are supplying products to four of the main vaccine producers, and have retrained staff to work on production lines to assist with COVID shortages
Longhurst Group is working with Boston Borough Council to build 47 new houses near Boston. Banks Long & Co is working with LCC on support with information on broadband mapping. Banks Long is also working with St.Modwens and Lindum to develop another four industrial and logistics units outside Lincoln. Our members Tradeglaze have teamed up with Lindum Homes to deliver the Bramley Grove development in Heighington.
Pygott & Crone continue to work with many members, more recently with Invest Gainsborough and Stirlin, driving investment into town via the Foxby Lane development. Pygott and Crone are also expanding into Gainsborough, Retford and Mansfield as well further expansion in Nottingham and London and are taking on seven more members of staff. Pygott & Crone are also collaborating with projects with Duncan and Topliss.
Indeed it's great to hear that members are taking on new staff, with Roythornes, Jenni Holland PR and Shooting Star PR all expanding their teams.
As if this wasn't enough team work for April - Globe Consultants are currently working with a staggering 24 Team Lincolnshire members. You can read their full interview here.
This is all testament to the dedication and hard work all our members are doing to not only support one another, but the greater good of the region. Do you have a story of collaboration or investment? Please contact us if you do!
