Micronclean Celebrates National Award Win

Skegness-based laundry experts Micronclean and its partners have won a national Green Apple Award in Science, Technology and Aerospace at a ceremony at Kensington Palace in London.
The award recognises the 2024 Micronclean CLEAN Award Challenge for Schools, which the Team Lincolnshire Ambassador developed and delivered in conjunction with its partners, the Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust and the Greater Lincolnshire LEP.
The CLEAN Award Challenge was targeted at Key Stage 4 children attending schools in Lincolnshire and gave the students involved a snapshot of plastics in their environment. It then challenged them to come up with innovative solutions to help combat issues with plastics in our workplace and environment.
“This is a fantastic result for the whole team involved in putting together the 2024 Clean Award Challenge,” said Sophie Harris, QSHE Associate Director at Micronclean. “I would like to thank everyone for all their hard work in putting the challenge together, including our partners at the Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust and the Greater Lincolnshire LEP, alongside all our staff at Micronclean. The next stage for all of us is to make the 2025 Clean Challenge even bigger and even better.”
