Team Lincolnshire Celebrates Success at their Second Annual Conference Held on Lincolnshire Day!

100 ambassadors came together to hear Team Lincolnshire updates and network together to celebrate each other's achievements over the past 12 months.

Team Lincolnshire is an autonomous partnership of private and public sector organisations, united by the goal of championing a stronger local economy hosted their second annual conference at the Lincolnshire Showground yesterday, 1st October, which coincided with Lincolnshire Day! 

The half day annual conference was opened by the chairman of the Steering Group, Emma Olivier-Townrow, and delegates heard from keynote speaker Leon Mundey from Peak Growth who delivered advice on Essential Habits for Transformative Leadership: Elevate Yourself and Your Business.

The agenda also contained a Greater Lincolnshire Devolution update, delivered by Justin Brown, Assistant Director - Growth at Lincolnshire County Council and a Team Lincolnshire update from Tony Reynolds, Inward Investment Manager and Team Lincolnshire lead.

This year's conference had a social value thread running throughout and was a true collaboration of ambassadors with the Team Lincolnshire Steering Group hosting a panel session on Social Value and Circular Economy: Empowering businesses to maximise their wider potential. This session was organised by ambassadors Sara Boland from Influence Landscape Design & Planning, John McCay from Mindful Creative and Emma Olivier-Townrow from Stokes Tea & Coffee. Panellists included the Greater Lincolnshire LEP, Lincoln City Foundation, Quickline and BE Design.

Delegates also heard case studies from ambassadors Axiom Sustainability Software who showcased their ESG software system, Viridis Building Services who shared their fantastic news around creating the first net zero diagnostic centre for the NHS & Micronclean shared the history of their company and a new product which has revolutionised the clean room industry.

The event concluded with a networking lunch where delegates were able to speak with representatives from Business Lincolnshire, Greater Lincolnshire LEP, Lincolnshire Community Foundation, Lyreco, Axiom Sustainability Software, Viridis Building Services & Micronclean. Attendees also received branded Team Lincolnshire biscuits and Stokes Coffee bags.
