Supporting Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) Businesses in Lincolnshire

The Inward Investment team at Lincolnshire County Council, alongside colleagues from North Kesteven DC & South Holland DC, welcomed the Department of Business & Trade on a three day visit.

As part of the Large Corporate FDI Key Account Management service that the Invest Lincolnshire Team run of behalf of the Department of Business and Trade it was exciting to host Susanne Devanney, the National Account Manager for Food and Drink businesses here in Lincolnshire. 

With three days of multiple joint visits to some of the largest food businesses in the county including Bakkavor and Moy Park, we were able to get an up-to-date picture of challenges facing these companies but also latest on their planned investments and projects. 

This proactive programme of engagement is all about providing support for these key businesses with the aim of providing and safeguarding jobs and ultimately improving economic benefits for the people of Greater Lincolnshire.
