LK2's creative yet commercially minded architects and consultants are sector experts, working across retail, leisure and sport to cover a comprehensive range of dynamic consultant and architectural services. Embracing innovation and collaboration and often bringing in external consultants to add value to projects; many of which are Team Lincolnshire members.
At present LK2 are collaborating with BSP, Delta Simons, Besa Group, Globe, Henry Riley, Active Lincolnshire, Roythornes, Duncan & Toplis, Gleeds and Faithful & Gould. They have also been working with North Kesteven District Council on the reimagined National Centre for Craft and Design in Sleaford, now The Hub in collaboration with Team Lincs members The Lindum Group.
More recently Team Lincolnshire turned to LK2 to advise on a special event we hosted on how sport and heritage can fuel the visitor economy. LK2 have extensive experience in town centre regeneration, and what 'brings a place together' for the benefit of both residents and visitors. In fact they are currently working on four ‘Visitor Economy’ specific projects in relation to the repurposing of large, former high-street anchor retail buildings, as well as a strategic leisure-led regeneration scheme. They have been delivering town centre regeneration schemes for over 10 years and have successfully delivered a number of projects.
Sport is never far from the agenda at LK2. For nearly a decade the LK2 Group (LK2 Architects and LK2 Sport & Leisure) have blended their services to create the unique LK2 brand; specialising in the procurement and delivery of sports, leisure and educational developments. LK2 are appointed as the Football Foundation, Football Association and Sport England Framework Management Consultant for changing rooms and associated facilities.
They deliver Football Association and Football Foundation compliant schemes across the UK in line with the FA National Ground Grading criteria and specification. Lk2 are also appointed as one of four UK suppliers for the Sport England Design Framework and Technical Assurance Framework providing design, project management and cost management consultancy services to support the development of Sport England funded projects.
It's no wonder the company are currently expanding their offices in Nettleham, Lincoln to allow for growth!
