Archbold Logistics’ Longer Semi-Trailers to Deliver Efficiencies for CorrBoard

Team Lincolnshire Ambassador CorrBoard UK has approved the use of two longer semi-trailers (LSTs) from Archbold Logistics.
Giving the manufacturer an additional two metres of loading space for each delivery.
Each trailer measures two metres longer than the standard 13.6m equivalent, and in addition to greater load capacity the vehicles also deliver a reduction in carbon emissions.
The two new vehicles will each feature CorrBoard branding, including its strapline, “Sustainably Independent”.
Managing Director of CorrBoard Rob Burgin said: “Thanks to the committed partnership we have with Archbold Logistics, when they came to us with the benefits of the LSTs, including the greater load capacity and reduction in carbon emissions, it made sense to go ahead.
“Knowing that our branding will be seen by thousands of motorists is an added incentive. We think that the trucks look amazing and hope that our customers see the value in the additional space we will have for deliveries.”
Managing Director of Archbold Logistics Alan Maher said: “We are really pleased that CorrBoard recognise the value in the longer semi-trailers. Not only do they look impressive, but they also improve efficiency for our customers, thanks to the additional load space.
“We are really looking forward to the feedback from CorrBoard and their customers. We are sure that the LSTs will have a positive impact both on the logistical side of the business and its journey to becoming more sustainable.”
