Events Are Back at Lincolnshire Showground!
We're delighted to catch up with Lincolnshire Showground who has been a valued member of Team Lincolnshire for almost two years. Below they have supplied us with a special Team Lincolnshire update!
Events are back at the Showground
With the news of lockdown restrictions lifting this month, we are looking forward to hosting some exciting events this Summer. We have been working hard over the last few months to prepare our venues and outdoor space for reopening and are thrilled to be able to welcome visitors back to the Showground for events very soon!
Upcoming events
- Adventure Cinema
Join us for an amazing outdoor cinema experience, showing classic Dirty Dancing on Saturday 17 July and Mamma Mia on Sunday 18 July! Bring a blanket or camping chair and enjoy watching the film under the stars on a giant screen. All Adventure Cinema events are 100% compliant with government guidelines and specifically set up with social distancing measures in mind.
- The Gala Pyro Picnic
Are you ready for a Summer party with a difference on Friday 23 and Saturday 24 July? A Covid-friendly spectacular for all the family! Join us for a for a spectacular show with food, drink, music, fireworks, lasers and more. Firework Champions Gala Fireworks will be putting on a breath-taking display.
- The Big Nineties Festival
The Big Nineties Festival returns to Lincoln on Saturday 31 July, after a sell-out show in 2020! Let's go back, time to relive the best parties of your life! Expect full festival production and a huge line up for this awesome one night only party in Lincoln.
- Cinderella on Ice
The live Cinderella on Ice experience is coming to the Lincolnshire Showground from Tuesday 3 - Sunday 8 August. Will Cinderella make it to the ball? World-class international skaters deliver a dazzling interpretation of this enchanting story, loved by all ages.
- Call of the Wild Festival
Call of the Wild Festival returns to the Lincolnshire Showground on Thursday 8 - Sunday 11 July. A jam-packed bill of the finest rock bands featuring The Treatment, Ricky Warwick & The Fighting Hearts, Inglorious, Massive Wagons, King Creature and many more!
Lincolnshire Show
Although the Lincolnshire Show is not going ahead this year, we have been looking back at last year’s Lincolnshire Show Online which attracted over 60,000 viewers across two days. You can still view all the attractions, entertainment and exhibitor listings at lincolnshireshowonline.co.uk.
LincsFest
Enjoy Summer at the Showground with all of the family as we celebrate all things Lincolnshire at LincsFest!
Join us on Sunday 15 August for an action-packed day out featuring locally sourced food and drink, spectacular performances, traditional fairground attractions and much more.
With interactive zones for all ages to choose from, families can get involved with countryside and wildlife activities, have a go at our village green games and try their hand at different sports. Let little ones enjoy riding the pedal tractors and meeting the animals, whilst older children can compete on the climbing wall or watch the incredible BMX Show.
Plus, we have an indoor food and craft village for grown-ups to get their hands on their favourite local treats and an exciting line-up planned in our Countryside Ring.
There’ll be a delicious selection of street food to choose from and creative activities to get involved with. With dozens of attractions to entertain all ages throughout the day, we promise a fun-filled day out for all the family!
