Henry Riley partners with leading Asian Pacific Project Consultancy TSA Management

Team Lincolnshire Ambassador Henry Riley, a leading UK cost and project management business, and TSA Management are pleased to announce their partnership.
Together, TSA and Henry Riley expand their reach, experience and expertise to almost 900 project professionals across 24 offices.
Combining Henry Riley’s expertise in the UK with TSA’s presence in Asia Pacific and its focus on infrastructure, commercial, health and sustainability projects will create something bigger than the sum of their parts.
The partnership will provide TSA and Henry Riley employees with the opportunity to work in new regions and sectors, and with new clients, growing individual and collective skills and experience. As a business, it will be able to better service its UK and international clients with a broader service offering.
Henry Riley and TSA share a people-first culture and a commitment to integrity, diversity and inclusion and creating a culture where people thrive. Initially, each business will operate independently. In the coming months they will work together to integrate and start seeing the value in their partnership.
David Needham, CEO of Henry Riley, said: “As part of our five-year business plan, and in line with our ‘be ambitious’ value, we are looking to accelerate our growth. Not for the sake of growth alone, but for the value and opportunities growth creates for our business, and most importantly, our people. We feel TSA shares our people-first culture and our commitment to integrity, as well as our broader values. From the start, our conversations have centred on what this move might mean for our people. We believe this partnership creates something bigger than the sum of the parts – truly a 1+1=3 opportunity.”
Andrew Wilson, CEO of TSA, said: "As a business we are looking to diversify geographically, and feel that the UK generally, and Henry Riley specifically, are a fantastic fit from a cultural, regulatory and project perspective. We work in many of the same sectors and offer some similar services, however we do have different areas of expertise – for example, Riley’s cost management experience is a growth opportunity for TSA. Understanding and growing from each other’s regional knowledge, specialties and experience will benefit us both. We believe there are many new and exciting opportunities for everyone as a result of this change, and we are keen to work together to create bigger and more exciting new opportunities that we hadn’t envisaged when we launched our five-year plan.”
A big moment in Henry Riley’s 130-year history
With over 130 years of experience and success, making the right decision for Henry Riley’s next chapter is of the utmost importance to its Executive Directors. This partnership is part of its plan to build a better future for its clients, people and the communities in which the business works.
This partnership represents a coming together of shared values. Both Henry Riley and TSA share a people-first culture and commitment to integrity (as well as Henry Riley’s broader values – be ambitious, be progressive, service matters and celebrate success).
Henry Riley’s strategy over the past 10 years has been centred around organic growth, and although this has been successful it has been apparent in recent years that the ambitions and talents in the business have been steadily pushing beyond the boundaries that organic growth can achieve. The partnership with TSA means that Henry Riley will become a business with the combination and diversity of expertise, geography, clients and people, resulting in a business large enough to win and influence sizeable global projects while remaining agile and small enough to care and focus on its clients.
Although the partnership is an ambitious move, Riley's and its people are steadfastly committed to maintaining its culture and continuing to deliver the ‘Riley way’ for clients on all projects.
David Needham, CEO of Henry Riley, says: “Getting to know TSA and understanding that its values are completely aligned with ours has enabled us to develop a true partnership approach which is so important to us. The integrity with which we operate, for both our people and our clients, is not something we ever would or ever will compromise on. I have complete confidence that this partnership is the right thing to do, and we are looking forward to the opportunities it will bring for our people and clients.”
