Micronclean - Supporting the Fight Against COVID 19

We hear from Team Lincolnshire ambassador Micronclean and how they have been playing a part in fighting the pandemic
Micronclean have been open for business and supporting the fight against Covid 19 throughout the pandemic.
In the early stages that support was through our supply to over 100 hospital Pharmacy Cleanrooms. In addition, we know that our Sterile packs were being used in the Nightingale hospitals.
Latterly we have been supporting the vaccine effort, we supply Garments and Consumables to the supply chain and manufacturing plants of the 2 vaccines being used in the UK and 2 more in the process of being approved.
We have been able to provide an uninterrupted service to our customers over the last 16 months despite a range of serious challenges in our supply chain, including supplier factories being requisitioned by the Chinese government and some raw materials increasing in price fourfold.
The response of our staff has been fantastic, they had adopted socially distanced work practices before they became a requirement, the practices we put in place before the first announcement have met the test of time and remained in place largely unchanged.
The company had been guided by our own Covid Task Force which has met at least once every week and has guided us through every aspect of the pandemic, providing regular updates of guidance to staff and managers. The detailed guidance and the consistency of approach has given everyone confidence we are taking the correct approach.
Our investment plans have continued, with updates to both our Grantham and Louth plants being progressed. In recent weeks we have approved 2 significant investment projects in Skegness that will give us additional capacity for both our Garment and Consumable businesses when they open later in the year.
