November saw some fantastic collaborations between our ambassadors including many projects to regenerate and improve our region.

Here’s a snapshot of some of the current projects you have been collaborating on:

  • Lincoln College & GF Tomlinson started work on the £15m Air & Space training facility at Lincoln College's Newark Campus.
  • LCC & Lindum started work on a new children's care home in Louth, creating 15 new jobs.
  • ELDC's new HQ, The Hub, was officially handed over by contractor Willmott Dixon. The space includes a shared space for Boston College adult learners.
  • Introductions were made between VPI Immingham and KryptoKloud to discuss Cyber Security on their IT systems.
  • A new £2m sports facility has been opened at Stamford College in part to funding from the GLLEP.
  • Lincoln City FC and the Red Imps Community Trust confirmed the development of Stacey West Stand starting in 2022 to complete the end of 2023.
  • LCC, Business Lincolnshire, Lincoln City Foundation & Greenborough Management Ltd have partnered to support improving numeracy across the county through its national MULTIPLY programme.
  • WLDC, Stirlin, Banks Long & Co & Castle Group have announced practical completion of phase six, Riverside Enterprise Park - which includes modern workshops ranging in size from 2,000 to 5,000 sqft.
  • One of Influences year out students has started a placement with CPMG architechs.
  • Team Lincolnshire worked with KryptoKloud to deliver a Cyber Networking Breakfast for 13 ambassadors at their state-of-the-art headquarters.
  • YMD Boon, Boston College, Influence and Boston BC are working together on plans for a proposed Mayflower Building at Boston College.
  • LCC introduced WLDC to the Department for International Trades export team.
  • Stirlin has acquired a run-down site on Newark Road in Lincoln and is working with Pygott and Crone to develop into a commercial opportunity.
  • Clegg Construction has appointed a new contracts manager.
  • YMD Boon has successfully bid for funding to replace dilapidated mobile classrooms at Bourne Westfield Academy into two new permanent classroom extensions to the existing building.
  • Balfour Beatty have successfully laid the final piece of UK land cable for the National Grid's Viking Link project. Once complete the cable will be the world's longest land and subsea interconnector and will be able to import enough green power for up to 1.4 million UK homes.
  • LCC, SHDC & Business Lincolnshire are working with an Aquaculture investor on landing in the region which particular interest in the South Lincolnshire FEZ.
