Lincoln-based and Team Lincolnshire ambassador, Stokes Tea & Coffee has announced plans to make a splash in coffee growing communities around the world.

The 120 year old family firm has launched a partnership with Project Waterfall - a charitable organization that is helping to bring clean water to coffee growing communities globally.

Stokes has built a strong track-record of helping to make a difference both near and far since it opened its doors in 1902. The team work with organisations like Fair Trade and the Rainforest Alliance. Now, they’re all set to support even more communities with plans to raise funds including donating money from every sale of some of their famous speciality coffee collection.

Not all coffee is created equal. The Stokes speciality range assures excellence and a superior cup of coffee. It takes a lot to receive the Stokes stamp of approval. The coffees that do are the culmination of the passion, pride and dedication of everyone in the supply chain, from the farmers to Stokes’ Master Roasters who select only the finest green coffee and use their wealth of expertise to bring out the best from every bean.

Speciality coffee lovers can make a difference with every sip with £2 from every bag of Jamaican Blue Mountain and Kenyan Burundi coffees going to support the Project Waterfall cause.

To celebrate UK Coffee Week, talks and free tastings with the Stokes Master Roasters will be taking place at their Lincoln based High Bridge Café, on Wednesday 12th and Thursday 13th October from 12pm to 1pm. Visitors will get to experience the Speciality Coffee range and learn more about the fascinating world of coffee.

So, now there are even more reasons for coffee lovers everywhere to flock to Stokes and indulge their passion for Speciality coffee.
