Team Lincolnshire July Update

This month has seen increased collaborations between our ambassadors. Team Lincolnshire has also facilitated many new introductions to further grow the Greater Lincolnshire region.

Here’s a snapshot of some of the current projects you have been collaborating on:

  • The Hub at the SLFEZ was officially launched with 25 office spaces and eight workshops for the Agrifood industry. Team Lincolnshire actively promoted The Hub and attended the launch event, alongside LCC and Pygott & Crone as the agent.
  • Acis Group, WLDC & GLLEP worked together to deliver a 1.7 mile walkway in Gainsborough.
  • Team Lincolnshire, Business Lincolnshire and LCC worked together to bring forward an event on sustainability at The Bacchus Hotel in Sutton on Sea.
  • Team Lincolnshire, GLLEP and Business Lincolnshire joined forces to help celebrate Stokes Tea & Coffee 120th anniversary at their HQ at The Lawn in Lincoln.
  • Working with VPI Immingham, Phillips 66, Engineering UTC Northern Lincolnshire and the Humber Industrial Cluster Plan, Team Lincolnshire delivered a webinar on Humber Zero: Benefiting the Community, the Climate and the Economy.
  • Working with students from Lincoln College, KryptoKloud welcomed three new Cyber Security Technologist apprentices who will receive mentoring and specialist training, taking their current apprentices from the college to five.
  • Brook and Mayo have installed 18 new defibrillators in Co-op stores - they also maintain 57 existing defibrillators across their stores.
  • Team Lincolnshire have promoted their ambassador programme and events in InvestNEL newsletter - which is delivered by North East Lincolnshire County Council.
  • RizkMcCayTribe worked with Viridis to develop their first sustainable website, which has now been launched.
  • WSP, LCC and Balfour Beatty have worked together on a Lincolnshire Highways volunteering scheme to improve the appearance of local communities. They have recently assisted Theddlethorpe Parish Council in clearing an overgrown ball court, ready for the next phase of bringing it back into community use.
  • LCC made introductions to GIN Properties and EcoTek.
  • LCC, Connected Coast and SELCP collaborated to promote the region to the Midlands Connect team regarding rural and coastal transport, health, education and visitor economy.
  • Lincoln University, Butlins, Phillips 66 and Lincolnshire Co-op contributed to the GLLEPs GL Careers Hub Cornstone Employer meeting, hosted at Micronclean where many Team Lincolnshire ambassadors attended. Attendees were updated on all things career related and a workshop delivered by SEND.
  • Constructed by Lindum, a new Kindness cabin was opened at St. Giles Nursery, Lincoln - funded by a local charity.
  • Several Team Lincolnshire videos have been commissioned which include collaborations with LCC, Lincoln Medical School, Influence, Butlins and Gleeds. One video led to a summer apprentice being hired by Influence.
  • Jennie Holland PR appointed two new Digital Executives.
