Construction has started on further employment space at the popular Riverside Enterprise Park near Lincoln.

Riverside Enterprise Park is a 7.6 acre commercial development by Team Lincolnshire ambassadors Stirlin and Castle Group, which occupies a prominent position adjacent the A57 in Saxilby.

Following the success of five completed phases of units and two large-scale design and build projects, Lincoln property developer Stirlin has commenced construction on Phase 6 of the business park.

The sixth phase will offer five robust, modern industrial units, ranging in size from 2,000 sqft to 2,500 sqft. Each unit will be finished to a high specification, including three phase electricity supply, 5m eaves height, electric sectional doors to the front and rear and ample car parking.

Tony Lawton, Managing Director of Stirlin, said:

“We’ve seen a significant demand for commercial space in Saxilby over the years due to its proximity to Lincoln City Centre and quick access to the A1 and A46 Lincoln bypass. Following the completion of Phase 6, we will have developed over 120,000 sqft of commercial property in Saxilby to date, which has brought a great deal of business to the area.

“We are delighted to work alongside Castle Group to further expand Riverside Enterprise Park with a sixth phase and bring further employment space to the area. The new phase is already proving very popular, with three out of the five units now sold STC.”

Development lead for Banks Long & Co, Lewis Cove, said:

“We’re delighted to be involved in the Riverside Enterprise Park development. This booming sector represents the perfect opportunity for both locally expanding and new businesses to the area.

“The modern-looking 2-2.5k square feet open-plan industrial units are very desirable and sought after. The developers have done a great job identifying the requirements of businesses within the region, and this is clearly demonstrated by there now being only two units left in Phase 6.”

Structural works are currently underway on the new phase, with completion expected for Autumn 2022.
