Pygott and Crone working alongside Lincolnshire County Council are now offering flexible offices and research and development workshops TO LET in the brand new high-tech muti-functioning Hub building.

The Hub is based on the South Lincolnshire Food Enterprise Zone (SL FEZ) in the heart of the UK Food Valley near Holbeach and offers flexible office space and R&D workshops.

The connections and support provided at the Hub by the public sector and the University of Lincoln will make the Hub the 'go-to' centre to help the industry access the latest technology, skills and services to support future growth.

Simon Wright, Regeneration and Portfolio Manager at Lincolnshire County Council, said:

“The construction of the Hub building within Phase I of the South Lincolnshire Food Enterprise Zone was made possible by significant investment from Lincolnshire County Council and the Greater Lincolnshire Local Enterprise Partnership.

By investing in this exciting new build project we will be able to safeguard and strengthen south Lincolnshire’s reputation as a centre of excellence for the UK’s food supply chain by providing brand new office and workshop space for a range of businesses working in the agri-tech sector”.

The SL FEZ sits at the heart of the UK’s leading advanced manufacturing cluster for the food sector, which includes market leaders in agriculture, food processing and logistics, and is therefore ideally located to support and nurture the development and advancement of technology in these sectors by providing businesses the space to set up, grow and thrive at the heart of the UK Food Valley.

The Hub will assist with this goal by providing early-stage food companies and technology supplier’s space to enable fast growth while maintaining the benefits of being clustered on site with many opportunities to expand.

The food industry is the fastest growing sector in the UK and employs more people than any other sector. The SLFEZ will be the centre of this growth and provides new and exciting collaborative spaces for food sector participants. The facilities and support available at the SLFEZ is vital to the future of the food industry in the UK, where innovation, research, development and progress is made, making the site a catalyst for the agri-food tech sector.

Jasper Caudwell, Chartered Surveyor for appointed marketing agent Pygott & Crone, said:

“The South Lincolnshire Food Enterprise Zone offers occupiers and investors alike a truly unique opportunity to be positioned at the heart of the UK Food Valley in a cluster of like-minded businesses with a mutual interest in driving innovation and growth across the agri-tech sector.

"The HUB Building in particular offers users the ability to work flexibly alongside businesses at the forefront of the agri-tech and food sector. We are really excited to see the Hub building along with its community grow from strength to strength.
