Call for Ambassadors to nominate their Apprenticeship Champions

Team Lincolnshire is backing a new awards programme launched in the county as part of National Apprenticeship Week.
The Lincolnshire Apprenticeship Champion Awards 2022 recognise both the efforts and commitment of apprentices, and those who support or deliver apprenticeships in the region.
Team Lincolnshire's Rachel Edwards says:
"If you know someone who has overcome barriers to undertake an apprenticeship, or an employer or training provider who has gone over and above to support an apprentice to fulfil their programme, why not nominate them for the Lincolnshire Apprenticeship Champion Awards 2022."
Applications are now open and entries are encouraged from employers, tutors and training providers, and apprentices themselves.
The three categories for nominations are:
- Lincolnshire Apprentice Champion 2022
- Lincolnshire Apprenticeship Employer Champion 2022
- Lincolnshire Apprenticeship Training Provider Champion 2022
Winners will need to demonstrate commitment to overcoming barriers, excellence in skills development and a clear drive to support success and growth. Shortlisted nominees will be invited to an awards ceremony in May.
The awards, run in partnership between the Public Service Compact group, Lincolnshire County Council and the Greater Lincolnshire Local Enterprise Partnership (GLLEP), were launched during National Apprenticeship Week. The closing date for entries is 31 March 2022.
