Putting Our Members at the Heart of Growth and Regeneration Across Lincolnshire

How Team Lincolnshire is fuelling the local supply chain and supporting the local economy.

If you ask any Team Lincolnshire company what the single most advantageous aspect about being a member is, the overarching answer would be the opportunities it provides.

There isn’t a business community in the region that facilitates so many platforms and introductions to both the public and private sector; creating openings to support a diverse range of schemes.

One of the main objectives of Team Lincolnshire, aside from using it as a platform to promote Greater Lincolnshire as a place to invest, is to encourage collaborative working amongst our members and the public sector in our region.

Working together

Many of our members are already working with us to bring our schemes into fruition. Two great examples of this is the work which is currently being undertaken on two of Lincolnshire County Council’s and the Greater Lincolnshire LEP’s most significant projects; The South Lincolnshire Food Enterprise Zonev(FEZ) at Peppermint Park, Holbeach and the Skegness Business Park.

Peppermint Park

This £150m+ scheme in south east Lincolnshire will provide through the Food Enterprise Zone up to c.60,000m2 of purpose-built employment space designed to nurture and grow the agri-food sector. This area’s economy is heavily influenced by the agri-food sector, and this development will create a pipeline of growth over a 15 to 20 year period.

The scheme is being delivered by a number of our members; Gleeds, one of the founder members of Team Lincolnshire, are project managing the project. Anglian Water are implementing all water and sewerage facilities, while William Saunders are site supervisors and NMCN are the contractors.

Skegness Business Park

An exciting project that will meet the town’s need for economic infrastructure in the form of commercial business and employment land. Lincolnshire County Council recognised the need for available, ready serviced commercial development land for new businesses to grow or relocate.

The proposed Skegness Business Park project will address this need by delivering a phased project plan that will enable a 31-hectare Greenfield site to be opened up for mixed use commercial and leisure development.

Working in collaboration with external design consultancies, Team Lincolnshire members BSP Consulting were commissioned by Lungfish Architects on behalf Lincolnshire County Council to provide civil engineering design services for the construction of a new adoptable highway as part of a multi-phase development to expand the existing Skegness Business Park.

Other Team Lincolnshire members who are working on the project include Anglian Water, Banks Long & Co and Lambert Smith Hampton.

Both schemes are terrific examples of how Team Lincolnshire is fuelling the local supply chain, supporting the local economy and giving Team Lincolnshire members opportunity to work on some of our most significant projects.
