Ambassadors for the Region!

Team Lincolnshire members have been pivotal in supporting the development and promotion of two major sites within the county, supporting events to showcase the projects. Team Lincolnshire and Boston Borough Council hosted a joint event to communicate the region’s investment and development opportunities, and we also hosted an event with South Kesteven District Council and Invest SK.

St. Martin’s Park is a flagship regeneration site in the historic town of Stamford. The 16-acre site to the south of the town was formerly home to Cummins Generator Technologies and was acquired by South Kesteven District Council in 2018 following the closure of the Cummins facility.

Jon Hinde, Head of Economy and Skills at InvestSK commented:

“We have a number of excellent development sites totalling more than 300 acres across the district and it was great to work with Team Lincolnshire to present our investment portfolio to developers, architects, builders, landowners and property agents.”

Team Lincolnshire have also been supportive in promoting the ambitious PE21 scheme – a master planned programme which will lead to the transformational of Boston town centre. PE21 will regenerate Boston Town Centre and secure growth and investment to the town as well as creating an attractive and future proof environment for its residents. Its aim is that it will lead to increased connectivity, repurposing the town centre to increase footfall and income generation through a variety of uses, including a well-being hub (combined health and leisure), accommodation, retail, hotel and community facilities.   The Master-plan has been in part funded by the One Public Estate Fund and the County Council has been a key partner in developing ideas.

Team Lincolnshire members have played a huge part in promoting both projects and bringing them to the attention of future investors – both in and out of the region. 

These are great examples of how members are truly becoming ambassadors for the region and helping bring investment and new business to the county; shaping its future and securing economic growth. Amplifying our message and taking investment opportunities out across the country and the rest of the world.
