We are also delighted to welcome Cllr Liam Kelly, Executive Councillor for Growth & Veterans who will speak about his new role and his ambitions for the future.

Also presenting will be representatives from the Lincolnshire County Council procurement team making sure you are fully up to date will all the latest news and regulations.

We are delighted to announce our Keynote speaker, Derek Redmond, former Olympian athlete who will speak about overcoming adversity and deliver a powerful message of resilience and determination.

Derek Redmond – Inspirational Speaker & Former World Champion Athlete

Derek Redmond is one of Britain’s most celebrated athletes, a World and European relay champion who broke the British 400m record twice. He played a key role in Great Britain’s historic 4x400m gold medal win at the 1991 World Championships in Tokyo—still the second-fastest run in history.

At the 1992 Barcelona Olympics, Derek captured global attention when he tore his hamstring mid-race but courageously finished with the help of his father, cheered on by 65,000 spectators. This powerful moment was voted one of the Olympics’ most inspirational by NBC and referenced by President Barack Obama in a speech.
