Focus on: Construction

Join us as we hear from Steve Day, Project Lead at YMD Boon for the Mayflower Project in Boston, giving us an overview of the project, it’s background and the ambitions for this important new site. Also in attendance will be Team Lincolnshire ambassador Thornton Firkin who are the PM/QS for the project.

There will also be an opportunity to tour the site on the day.

Event Itinerary 

• 11.30am - 12pm - Arrival & Registration
• 12pm – 12.30pm – Presentation by YMD Boon & RG Carter on the Mayflower Project
• 12.30pm – 1.15pm – Tour of site. Delegates must provide own PPE to include steel toe caped boots, high vis vest and hard hat
• 1.30pm – 2pm - Networking lunch and close

Steve is a seasoned architect with over 30 years’ experience, known for his commitment to design quality, innovation, and sustainability. As Lead Architect, he brings extensive expertise in managing design teams and ensuring stakeholder priorities are met. He has a strong grasp of evolving legislation and industry standards, recently completing training for the Principal Designer role under the Building Safety Act. Steve is currently the Project Lead on the Mayflower project for Boston College.
