Lincoln Medical School

Join Team Lincolnshire and the University of Lincoln in this exclusive networking event to showcase Lincoln Medical School and its significance to Greater Lincolnshire and beyond.

The event brings together businesses and leading academics and Global Professors in rural health and social care to discuss the opportunities for the region, including improving the recruitment and retention of doctors.

Professor Libby John, Pro Vice Chancellor and Head of the College of Science and Engineering, said:

“The College of Science and wider University is delighted to welcome Team Lincolnshire and its members to the Lincoln Medical School.

"We look forward to showcasing our facilities and aspirations for transforming our community’s healthcare provision, while also providing local businesses in the sector with the support they need to develop and grow.”

Delegates will hear from Team Lincolnshire ambassador Nikki Cooke, Chief Executive at LIVES, about the charity’s commitment to ensuring the wider community has the skills to respond to medical emergencies which it does through offering specialist training programmes to schools and community groups, business and industry.

Fellow ambassador Shona Hatton, Associate Director at Influence, will also be providing engaging insight into the company's creative involvement in the design of the £21 million project to provide students with state-of-the-art facilities.

As well as a tour of the Lincoln Medical School, there will also be the opportunity to ask questions, view displays showcasing services available from the Productivity Programme, Productivity Hubs and The Bridge, and discuss ideas for future collaboration during informal networking over refreshments.

The event takes place on Wednesday 27th April 2022 from 3pm to 5.45pm.
