The Greater Lincolnshire Regional Defence & Security Cluster (GLRDSC) is an industry-led network that brings together national and international defence organisations, manufacturers, researchers, and innovators across Greater Lincolnshire and Rutland.
Its mission is to foster collaboration, tackle sector challenges, and unlock business opportunities by connecting traditional and non-traditional defence and security stakeholders. With strong ties to RAF operations and ISTAR capabilities, the region offers a strategic environment for defence innovation, testing, and development.
GLRDSC supports SMEs by facilitating access to government funding, commercialisation pathways, and defence supply chains. Members benefit from networking events, bid-writing support, ESG guidance, and secure infrastructure access. The cluster also aligns with the MOD’s Defence Industrial Strategy and is recognised by the Defence and Security Accelerator (DASA), helping drive regional innovation into deployable national security capabilities. GLRDSC is a catalyst for growth, collaboration, and technological advancement in the UK defence sector.
The GLRDSC has joined Team Lincolnshire to amplify its regional impact, access high-level networks, and promote Greater Lincolnshire’s defence innovation.
