Improving the lives and opportunities of communities and businesses in Greater Lincolnshire and Rutland
The Greater Lincolnshire LEP is a partnership of over 180 influential private and public sector leaders delivering business, leisure and learning opportunities to our area. We work with Government and stakeholders to harness our economic ambitions by collaborating with investors to help local businesses grow and prosper.
To date we have unlocked over £279 million of additional investment through our funding programmes, engaged with 20,000 businesses through our Growth Hub and created 3,108 jobs. Our robust careers schemes have also supported 2,711 young learners and apprentices at local schools and colleges, ensuring that local young people have the vocational support they need.
We are developing a top 10 global UK Food Valley cluster based in South Lincolnshire, an internationally significant project with the potential to create an additional £2 billion of GVA and 11,000 jobs by 2030.
In addition, our successful partnership bid to win freeport status for the Humber and North Lincolnshire’s ports is also predicted to bring 7,000 jobs and over £2 billion investment to our region.
