Active Lincolnshire is a charitable organisation working towards supporting everyone in Lincolnshire being active. We deliver Sport England’s national strategy locally and support children and young people, workforces, clubs and activity providers to facilitate sustained increase in levels of activity across the county. For a number of years Lincolnshire has been one of the most inactive counties in the country – we want to change that and we recognise that Active Lincolnshire can’t make the significant long term changes that are required on our own.
We want to work with Team Lincolnshire to ensure that we support a healthy workforce, help our most inactive population become active and influence local agendas and strategies so that providing active spaces, active travel (to work), active workforce and active children become embedded in our way of thinking – because by working together we can increase activity levels and therefore quality of life and productivity of the county.
